hello everyone! First off thank you for your long email that you sent! Second all of the goodies and stuff inside the packages were great... but now i have a problem. So for the past couple of weeks my stomach has been feeling like crap whenever i ate or drank and this past friday i was running a bit of a fever and was nauseous. I ended up throwing up twice and both times it contained quite a bit of blood. So I called sister Delamare and she set up some doctors appointments for me. So on our jeepney ride over to the hospital in Manila i threw up again and it also had blood in it. So we went to the hospital and they said that i most likely have a stomach ulcer. So they put me on a diet of 4 things.... bananas, rice, apple sauce, and toast. Yep thats all i can eat for a while. So all of that candy and junk food is gonna have to wait for a while.... but dont worry, im feeling ok! Just got to keep on this diet and i should be good. But anyways that wasnt my 2nd baptism!!! it was my 7th! It was the second that I actually participated in... but thats alright.

Thats so funny that Daisy will just sit down in the middle of the road when Brooke's walking her. I taught her to sit at stop signs (or tried) but she always gave me a hard time. So is Daisy really fat now? You had said that she was getting there. So guess what tomorrow is for me?! My birthday! Well its not going to be anything special here for me but thats alright. The Lords work comes first. Sorry im gonna have to cut this one short guys. I love you all and wish you all the best!!!! Ill talk to yall next week!

Hello everyone from the good ole US of A! This week has been pretty good and yes we did have a baptism! Elder Casano let me do the baptizing so that makes number 2 for me but number 7 in all for me. Nobody ever told me that the basketball hoop smashed the windshield out of my jeep! Bummer. Well as long as the actual body doesnt have any dents its ok. So I just recieved the two packages today! Sorry i didnt have the patience to wait till my actual birthday so i just opened all of it up. Thank you all a ton for all of the presents!!! All of the Americans in the zone will be happy that i got a football so we can finally have a game! The filter water bottle was greatly needed so thank you for that. Thank you for the family pictures that you all sent! All of the filipinos are crazy about family so they're always asking if I have a picture of you guys and now i can! So i also recieved a letter from Amanda Weed dating back to May 18th! The letter must have taken a boat! But anyways tell her thanks for me. So tomorrow is zone conference for us and im looking forward to it and being able to grab my extra luggage with all of my extra stuff!!!

I am continuing to waste away and my clothes just keep getting bigger and bigger on me! Im gonna eventually buy some new clothes or just get these ones refitted! So when is the Crowther Family reunion? Are the Robbins gonna get their butts kicked again this year? Maybe someday we'll eventually beat them in the golf tournament... Well id better get going. I love you all and I am thankful for all that you guys do for me out here and all of the support. I love you all more than you will ever know. Continue to follow the example of our Savior and always serve him! I love you all!!!!

So here is my extra long letter that i promised to send you all. First HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARLI!!!!! I wish you a good birthday and sorry i didnt send you a present but when i get back I'll get you a couple! So I am doing well here and yes I did recieve the card and everything is good on it. I bought a new shirt and new socks because mine now have holes in them :(, also a new belt because they both are way too big for me and the belt i bought like a week ago is starting to get big too. I also bought a umbrella because when it rains here it really pounds and because everybody's roof here is tin it gets hard to teach because its so loud. So we basically end up screaming at the investigators so they can hear. We taught this one investigator and she said that what we taught to her about our trials really helped her and she wants to be baptized!!!! Her date is September 18 and we cant wait!!!

So when i was talking about my camelbak I didnt mean that i left my whole backpack in my other suitcase, I ment that I just left the water bladder not the whole backpack. So dont worry about that. Really most of the young women wrote me? Hmmmm.... I dont remember every being very close to the young women in the ward. Oh well Thank You to the young women!!! So who is driving my good ol' hunting jeep? Hopefully you guys havnt taken off my deer hunting stickers yet! Man i miss that jeep!(Dont worry i miss you guys more :) ) But how is Dad's business going? Going good i hope... So today we had our zone activity. We got to play basketball, and do a fear factor eating thing. The things that were available to us were: baluut, salted egg (a egg thats been boiled and put in a salt mixture for 30 days), bbq'ed chicken head, raw eggs, and a bunch of other stuff. I only had to eat the salted egg and it wasnt that bad. Oh and in basketball today i was going up for a rebound and landed wrong and rolled my ankle. Its just a little sore but nothing bad. Im actually getting to be really good at basketball here. Its also nice to play with people shorter than you so I can stuff them. haha. Anyways the cats who always used to come around I dont really see anymore. Maybe because we stopped feeding them our leftovers.

So Otherwise this week has been really good but i just thought of something I wanted for my B-day (if you guys havnt sent off the package yet... Its my BYU Football T-shirt and my BYU hat. If you guys wouldnt mind putting that in there also that would be great but if you have already sent it off dont worry about it. Well im running out of things to say.. I love you all and wish Carli a very happy birthday!!! I love you all so much and miss y'all!!! Mahal ko kayo!!!!

Sorry that this email is coming a day late!!! Since my companion became the District Leader our pday got swapped so he could go to DL training today but dont worry next Monday you'll be getting an email on time from me. Anyways.... Yes me and my companion get along well. My last companion however was basically like a brother to me so i dont think any companion can top that. But me and Elder Casano get along real well. Ummm... for my birthday? I have only one thing i would like for my birthday.... a football!!! I am determined to bring football to this country!!! But really i don't need anything here at all. Maybe a family picture of you all would be good because here in the philippines everyone wants to see family pics. But thats all i really want. Well the ketchup i bought here in the Philippines and there is peanut butter here also. This past week has been pretty good and just tracting and teaching but no really good spiritual experiences this past week. Getting to be really good friends with everybody in my zone tho and I am definitely happy here in the Philippines. Sorry i dont got alot of time today to write so ill have to cut this letter a little short but next week's will be twice as long i promise!!!! Oh and tell Uncle Joe and Aunt Tracy that i received their letter the other day and thank them for me. I love you all sooo much!!! I wish to say to all of the younger cousins especially Ryan and Cody to prepare for their missions. It will be the best time of their lives!!! I love you all!!!

Hey how are you all doing? I'm doing pretty well and i actually got to have my first baptism where i actually got to do the baptizing! His name is Karl Edge Isada. He's only 9 but lives with his member grandma and non-member mom. So we've been teaching him for a couple months and finally he was ready for baptism. I did take some pictures but once again the computers here will not let me upload pictures. But don't worry I'm still taking pictures!!! Yes i have to do my own laundry because my comp doesn't want to pay anyone to wash our clothes so i have to do my own. Oh and here we don't have washing machines, laundromats, or anything here. Just a scrub brush a board and a bucket. Its a real killer on the muscles. But next time i do wash I'll tell my companion to take pictures for ya. But speaking of muscles.... I'm approximately at 196 pounds as of Monday, July 26, 2010. Yes so i was at 250 pounds exiting the MTC and have lost 55 pounds in 5 and a half months!!! I should start my own weight loss program eh? And its not like i do push-ups, sit-ups or anything, just walking in the Philippines. So we went to this filipino restaurant called Mang Inasal today as a zone and that was pretty good. For 95-99 pesos we get grilled chicken, either a breast and wing or a thigh and a leg and unlimited rice!!! So today i polished off 5 cups of rice with my meal and cant imagine life without it. When i come home I'm gonna have to buy myself a rice cooker. I'm so happy to be out here even though it can be hard sometimes it is so worth it. A mission prepares you for life. Budgeting, getting along with someone your living with, hard work are all things that I'm learning out here on the mission and I know that this is the Lords work. Mom and Dad I want to promise you that i will not come home early and will finish this mission because the Lord wants me to. When I first left for the mission i thought of it as something that everyone was just supposed to do, but now I have a testimony that all young men who choose not to go on a mission are being selfish and not thinking of others when they choose not to go. It's that simple. Cody, keep preparing to go on a mission and i am so proud of you for having the desire to go. You will not regret it when you choose to submit your mission papers when the time comes. I'm so grateful to be out here in the mission field. I love this work. Time is flying by so fast here that I'm afraid that my mission will be over. I'm thankful for all of your support back home and thank you Uncle Danny, Aunt Mel, Ryan, Whitney, Ashlyn, Kory and my clone Haley (I call her my clone because of her love of ketchup and President Dieter F. Uchtdorf), for the letters and pictures i just got from you guys. I love all the family so much and miss you all. Mahal ko kayo. Ingat kayo!

Elder Robbins
